Everyone has the potential to change, grow and heal. I believe that psychotherapy can be a powerful tool toward these goals. Effective therapy requires an authentic therapist-client relationship, and I strive to create an environment filled with trust and understanding. I will encourage you to deepen your understanding of your experiences and emotional life, as well as identifying the areas where you are not feeling fulfilled and creating more fruitful options.
I utilize a variety of modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, existential, and mindfulness-based stress reduction, which allows me to shape and individualize the intervention for each client. I believe in flexibility, and allowing the therapy to progress organically, while increasing self-discovery and peace, eventually leading to self-fulfillment.
I trained at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Medical School, with an emphasis in Health Psychology. As such, I am committed to the holistic health of my clients, striving towards self-fulfillment. As such, I encourage collaboration with other providers, in an attempt to improve the holistic health of my patients.

Grief is the natural and normal emotional suffering that occurs in response to loss. Grief and loss are unavoidable in life and there is no right or wrong way to experience these.
Family therapy is a form of treatment that views psychological problems and their treatment in terms of the interactions among family members.
As with individual therapy, couples have their own, unique reasons for talking to a professional.
The experience of trauma is extremely personal, unique, and complex. However, what is universal is the distressing experience of losing our sense of safety in the world and in the self.
