For psychotherapy to lead to positive change, there needs to be a strong, supportive and genuine relationship between therapist and patient. My research and clinical interests are centered on helping you find the best patient/therapist match, and on working to maintain meaningful and trusting relationships throughout treatment. We will use your experiences both outside and inside the therapy room to help build insight into areas of relational difficulties, sources of pain, and patterns of thoughts and behaviors.
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York and completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Jackson Health System/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In addition, I have a wide range of experiences treating individuals across the lifespan in various settings. I have trained at Mount Sinai, Manhattan Psychiatric Center, The Max and Celia Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducation Services Clinic, and Brooklyn College Personal Counseling Center.
Through my work I have developed a passion for working with individuals, couples, families, and groups as they navigate relationships, daily life stressors, important life events/transitions, and burnout. I also offer psychological testing services to help individuals learn more about their cognitive and personality functioning, aid in diagnosis and treatment planning, and help people receive necessary accommodations.
